Drop-in services

Pro Centre Finland Helsinki drop-in is open Monday to Thursday from 12:00 to 16:00 at the Vilhonkatu centre.

Drop-in hall services

Our hall workers will guide you as you come in, and if required they will explain the services available.  If you want to, you can contact the duty community nurse or social worker. The general doctor is on duty on Thursdays.             

Community nurse  

·        The community nurse can give you advice and guidance on your health.

·        In the consultation room you can take an anonymous pregnancy or HIV test.

·        You can be anonymously tested for sexually transmitted infections, and get a hepatitis B vaccination.
               

Duty social worker

·        The social worker can provide advice and guidance on social issues, such as accommodation, livelihood, education, employment or immigration.

·        If you want, you can also receive guidance and help filling in applications.

·        Pro Centre Finland's doctor is available for consultation during drop-in opening hours - 12:00 to 16:00.

·        The doctor can diagnose infections and provide treatment.

The following things are always available in the hall:

·        Coffee and tea

·        Soup and other food

·        Newspapers and magazines

·        Access to computers and the internet

·        Condoms and lubricants

Acupuncture group

You can receive acupuncture treatment every Wednesday at 14:00 at the Vilhonkatu service centre. Allow an hour for this treatment.
