Signposting

Pro Centre Finland workers can also carry out signposting if required. Signposting means that our workers can advise you on social services available, how to receive social benefits, and questions relating to your legal position.

Our workers can accompany you for support in dealing with officials, and provide help with using other everyday support services. While dealing with external agencies, neither you nor your support worker needs to disclose links to Pro Centre Finland.

One of our workers can also provide support for you when you are dealing with issues over the telephone and can help with completion of documents and forms.

The aim of signposting is that you will learn to use the services yourself when you need them and that you can get the benefits to which you are entitled. You make your own decisions about the guidance and support that you need.
